Book Fest Award!

I attended the Fredericksburg Indie Book Festival a few weeks ago and was given the Best Exhibit Booth Award! This surprised me. I didn’t even know they gave those out. I beat scores of other authors.

I’ve sometimes wondered if my setup is too much, despite getting a lot of compliments on it, but I guess not! While they didn’t give a reason, here are some highlights:

1. Most things are black or deep blue
2. Two table runners for the two big series’
3. Two on-table bookcases with book cover artwork on them
4. A matching back banner
5. D&D dice (in a special LOTR bowl), towers, and bags
6. Book-themed posters, coasters, and puzzles
7. Dragon-shaped bookmarks (though I was actually out of them that day)
8. A t-shirt with one of my dragon book covers all over it
