I’ve completed a new short story (5500 words) and submitted it to the Writers of the Future contest this week. “A Kingdom of Ends” is about a woman who has tried to improve her life but only screwed it up, so when a wizard offers her a dangerous job, it’s her last chance. Getting near the supernatural phenomenon to collect something from it might be her last mistake.
